Capsicum Haematochrome and Series Products Processing Project
I. Background:
Dried chili is raw material of producing capsicum foods and extracting natural pigment -- capsanthin. The Yanqi Cultivation Region of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps is the area relatively suitable for growing of dried chilli in South Xinjiang Area, the height above sea level of this area is within 1030~1250 meters, the quality of soil is sand soil, with ph value being between 7.5~8, the heat resource within the area is abundant, the sunshine is plentiful, rainfall is less, and the water conservancy basic facilities is good. Of which, the dried chili of 21st Regiment and 22nd Regiment etc is the famous and excellent feature agricultural products of Xinjiang, the main varieties have capsicum annuum longum, iron sheet color pepper, plate shape pepper, and pork intestine shape pepper etc. which have features of big fruit body, high haematochrome, fresh and bright color and luster, high setting ratio, and no pollution etc.
The project has finished the feasibility study report.
II. Construction Contents:
To produce chili powder 6000 tons and capsicum haematochrome 200 tons per year.
III. Total Investment:
24.4851 million yuan. Of which the fixed investment 22.4851 million yuan, the liquid fund 2 million yuan.
IV. Benefit Estimation:
The financial internal rate of return is 18.30%(after tax), investment recovery period(including construction period) is 4.60 year, financial net present value is 5.9817 million yuan; the profit ratio of investment is 22.82%, and the profit and tax investment ratio is 31.67%.
