30 Thousand per Year Citric Acid Anhydrous Expansion Project

I. Background:
In recent years, along with increasing expansion of the application of citric acid, the demand is increasing year by year, the market development prospect is very wide. At the present time, the global total citric acid productive capacity approximates 1.2 million tons per year, of which, that of China occupies 50%. Citric acid consumption is with European Union and United States being the largest markets, the total consumption for this two markets occupies 70% of the global overall consumption. It is estimated that in the future 5-10 years, the global citric acid consumption will increase by 2－3% per year, up to 2010, the global citric acid demand will reach 1.32 million tons. Along with the one after another breakthroughs being made in citric acid technology of our country, the production costs will be reduced in large amounts, this will bring about good market development chances and spaces for the daily increasing citric acid consumption markets.
The project has finished the feasibility study, and the environment impact assessment has passed demonstration.
II. Construction Contents:
Based on the original 12 thousand tons of citric acid anhydrous, the project is to purchase domestic advanced equipment 260 units (sets), and will introduce advanced centrifuge, drier and vaporization system etc 10 units （sets） of advanced equipments, to newly increase building area 47560 square meters. After the project is built up, it will form production capacity of 30 thousand tons of citric acid anhydrous.
III. Total Investment:
195.2824 million yuan. of which the fixed investment 171.641 million yuan, the liquid fund 23.6414 million yuan.
IV. Benefit Estimation:
The per year newly increased sales income 122.5935 million yuan, annual return 53.072 million yuan. The investment recovery period is 5.33 years (after tax), and the financial internal rate of return is 22.72% (after tax).
